It is used to cool the liquid leaving the condenser to lower temperatures.
The pressurised liquid from the liquid tank passes through the heat exchanger and is cooled to temperatures below the condensation temperature. The cooling process is carried out with ambient air using an axial fan. In this way, greater cooling capacity is obtained from the same compressor, the COP value of the system is increased or the cooling process can be carried out with a smaller compressor. If desired, the subcooler can be combined with the existing condenser instead of a separate heat exchanger. High-efficiency subcooling heat exchangers adapted to the working conditions can be designed according to customer requirements.
