Compressor system
This is the most widely used cooling system in the world. As it requires more technological investment, it is not used very frequently, particularly in the manufacture of minibars. While the absorption-system minibar operates precisely without noise, the compressor-system minibar has a noise level of 38 decibels. This noise level complies with hotel noise standards. The compressor-system minibar is particularly preferred in hot destinations because it can cool down to +2/+8°C degrees even at an ambient temperature of 43°C. The most important reason why it has been preferred in recent years is that it saves 85 % of energy (A+++) compared with the absorption system.
