Type of cooling
Absorption system
The reason why this system, known as the beginning of refrigerator manufacturing in history, is preferred by hotels is that it works precisely without vibration or noise. Since no mechanical equipment is used, no vibration or noise is created in this method of heating the liquid cooler, which contains a mixture of ammonia and water with a resistor. As the cooling gas must remain constantly hot, the resistor continues to operate for most of the day. Cooling performance is calculated using the DELTA-T fixed value in this system, which can cool between +4 and +14°C at an ambient temperature of 16 to 32°C. Cooling performance is determined by subtracting the DELTA-T value (20°C) from the ambient temperature. For this reason, if the minibar is to be used in a minibar cabinet, the cabinet ventilation must be extremely well planned.
