HHP, VHP (Heat pipe heat recovery exchangers)

This is a typical fin/tube heat exchanger consisting of two parts working as a condenser and an evaporator containing an appropriate amount of refrigerant. The air (from which the heat will be transferred) passes through the evaporator to transfer heat to the refrigerant. The evaporated refrigerant transfers its heat over the condenser (located at the top) to the cold air that passes through the outside of the exchanger. In this case, the heat is transferred to the cold air and therefore heat recovery occurs.

This is a sensitive type. There is heat transfer between the two air streams, but there is no moisture transfer. The fresh air and exhaust air are close to each other, the two air streams can mix at very low (or zero) flow rates and there are no moving parts. These are some of the typical properties of this type.

Technical values such as heat recovery, temperature efficiency and pressure drop on both sides are calculated in-house using specially developed software. There are options for the number of rows, fin pitch, embossed fins or louvres.
