BC/BD (Vertical/Horizontal air coolers)

Application:

Air coolers are used to cool process water with ambient air. These products are widely used in factories, thermal power stations and cogeneration systems. Power ratings range from 10 to 1107 kW.

Battery properties:

Air coolers are specifically designed for highly efficient heat transfer. Products can be supplied with fin pitches of 2.1 and 2.5 mm. Standard operating pressure is 10 barg. 16 barg or other pressures are available on request.

Bodywork:

BC refers to vertical design and BD to horizontal design (the direction of the air from bottom to top). Depending on customer requirements, the product is specially manufactured for vertical or horizontal use. The body frames are electrostatically powder-coated Ral 9016.

Fan:

Single-phase and three-phase fans are available in Ø500, Ø630, Ø800 and Ø910 mm diameters. Delta or Star connections are also available in the catalogue for different product capacity options. The fans are suction type and the protection class is IP54. The fans are compatible with ERP 2015 regulations.
